Pieter Coudyzer (1978) studied art and animation at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Gent, Belgium. He graduated with great distinction in 2003 and has been making short narrative and experimental films, paintings and drawings ever since. His films have been shown in many festivals and gallery's around the world, including le Centre Pompidou, and have won  numerous awards. In 2015 he debuted as a graphic novelist with Woekeraar which has been translated in English (Outburst) and French (l'Arborescent).
